Inspired by the V-Strom 1050, the new Suzuki V-Strom 160 looks some like it.

Introduced for the Colombian market, Suzuki’s new small-capacity ADV has a 160 cc engine. Although the new baby V-Strom is an entry-level adventure bike, its strong proportions give the bike a great feel. Inspired by the litre-class V-Strom 1050, its robust design emphasises the requirement for rather simpler foundations for the current job at hand.

Riding a Suzuki V-Strom 160 sounds to be very fun

With 14.75 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6,500 rpm, running this new single-cylinder, air-cooled, 160 cc engine is With regard to hardware; the bike indicates its road-biased character by having a mono-shock and a standard telescopic fork and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. Petalled disc brakes at both ends handle braking duties; ABS is standard.

Though it’s an adventure tourer, the Suzuki V-Strom 160 has quite the easily reachable seat height of 795 mm. For background, the V-Strom 250 SX stands 835 mm tall. The standouts on the features front are all-LED lighting, a USB C-type charger, and a circular digital instrument cluster.

Sadly, Suzuki India has no intentions of bringing a new entry-level adventure bike to India. It has the V-Strom 250 SX doing that already. Suzuki India will instead ride high on the EV wave already sweeping the country and soon unveil its first electric scooter under the Access name. This becomes the second Japanese firm to go electric in India after Honda revealed two brand-new electric scooters for India that will be sold in 2025 ahead.
