In November 2024, Mahindra revealed the BE 6 and XEV 9e, the first two of its Electric Origin SUVs. Starting on February 14, 2025, bookings for particular variations of BE 6 and XEV 7e will start. The XEV 7e is most certainly the next Electric Origin SUV under development. Recently, test mules of the totally electric SUV have been seen several times.
Basically, the all-electric version of the XUV700, Mahindra, filed a trademark for the XEV 7e a few months back. Details of the battery-powered SUV have emerged on the internet ahead of their likely release at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
The production-spec XEV 7e has been shown in a recently leaked video. The video seems to be more of a simulation, but the details linked most certainly match those of the production-spec model. Although the XEV 7e gets over the XUV 700 with several design changes, the general silhouette stays somewhat similar to the XUV 700.
