The Murugappa Group of electric mobility division, displayed its most recent inventions. With the goal of expanding commercial transportation in India, the business introduced two ground-breaking electric vehicles: the Super Cargo e-three-wheeler and the Eviator small commercial vehicle (e-SCV).

The Eviator offers over 95% fleet uptime due to the sophisticated telematics with an industry-first approved range of 245 km and a gross vehicle weight of 3.5 tonnes. A vehicle with a maximum power of 80 kW, a torque of 300 Nm, and a warranty of up to 7 years or 250,000 km, it is built for mid-mile and last-mile mobility which makes it unique. With a price tag of 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Eviator represents a significant advancement in commercial transportation that emits no emissions.

Another is the Super Cargo which is a multipurpose e-three-wheeler designed for fleet managers and business owners. It guarantees the optimal utility and efficiency with a range of more than 200 kilometres and a 15-minute full-charge time. With especial equipment like front disc brakes, a driver’s seatbelt, and a roomy, ergonomic cabin, the Super Cargo starts at ₹4.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

“As part of the Murugappa Group, we are committed to sustainable and innovative technology mobility solutions,” said Mr. Arun Murugappan, Chairman of Montra Electric (TI Clean Mobility), during the ceremony. We are entering a new stage of development and innovation with the introduction of the Eviator and Super Cargo. “The Eviator redefines mobility with its unmatched durability and technology,” added Managing Director Mr. Jalaj Gupta. Our vehicles are designed to address diverse needs while ensuring exceptional fleet uptime through customized charging and aftermarket solutions.” In fact, the Union Minister of Heavy Industries Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy, described the importance of these developments in helping India reach its goal of having zero net carbon emissions by 2070.

Additionally, the business showcased the Rhino, India’s first electric 55-ton heavy commercial truck that has already driven more than 5 million km in actual use. Montra Electric is in a well-position to be a key player in India’s shift to clean mobility because of its strong product line and growing dealer network.
