For the Yamaha MT-03, a 321 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine produces 42 horsepower. Leading Japanese motorbike manufacturer Yamaha has taken off the covers off the 2025 MT-03 for the global market. Design-wise, the most recent version of the bike is an exact copy of its bigger cousins. Still, the little architectural changes provide fresh appeal to the project. The bike mechanical-wise is precisely like its predecessor and will remain functioning on the same hardware. These comprise the whole new motorcycle.
2025 Yamaha MT-03: Design
Like its predecessor, the Yamaha MT-03 has an LED projector headlights unit improved with LED DRLs positioned over the headlight unit. Still, the bike boasts a strong tank; the shrouds accentuate its look. This is balanced and given a modest look a changed tail section. The new Ice Storm color scheme highlights all of this and the bike’s aggressive appearance.

There are also some changes in the feature list of the bike. These days, it uses a contemporary LCD negative dash as the rider’s bridge between the bike and herself. Giving the rider Bluetooth access also enables turn-- turn navigation, phone alarms, and notifications.
Operating the Yamaha MT-03 is the same 321 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine generating 29.6 Nm of peak torque while revving at 9,000 rpm and 42 horsepower. This runs next to a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.

USD handles the suspension duties with forks and a mono-shock at the back end. Dual-channel ABS runs both ends of the braking system on single discs. All of this combined together gives the motorcycle a kerb weight of 167 kg.
Not now on sale in the country, Yamaha MT-03 begins at ₹ 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike’s 2025 model is expected to arrive in the country next year with few changes in price tag.
