Yamaha MT-03

For the Yamaha MT-03, a 321 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine produces 42 horsepower. Leading Japanese motorbike manufacturer Yamaha has taken off the covers off the 2025 MT-03 for the global market. Design-wise, the most recent version of the bike is an exact copy of its bigger cousins. Still, the little architectural changes provide fresh appeal to the project. The bike mechanical-wise is precisely like its predecessor and will remain functioning on the same hardware. These comprise the whole new motorcycle.
2025 Yamaha MT-03: Design
Like its predecessor, the Yamaha MT-03 has an LED projector headlights unit improved with LED DRLs positioned over the headlight unit. Still, the bike boasts a strong tank; the shrouds accentuate its look. This is balanced and given a modest look by a changed tail section. The new Ice Storm color scheme highlights all of this and the bike’s aggressive appearance.
Yamaha MT-03 Specifications
There are also some changes in the feature list of the bike. These days, it uses a contemporary LCD negative dash as the rider’s bridge between the bike and herself. Giving the rider Bluetooth access also enables turn-by- turn navigation, phone alarms, and notifications.
Operating the Yamaha MT-03 is the same 321 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine generating 29.6 Nm of peak torque while revving at 9,000 rpm and 42 horsepower. This runs next to a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.
Yamaha MT-03: Hardware
USD handles the suspension duties with forks and a mono-shock at the back end. Dual-channel ABS runs both ends of the braking system on single discs. All of this combined together gives the motorcycle a kerb weight of 167 kg.
Not now on sale in the country, Yamaha MT-03 begins at ₹ 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike’s 2025 model is expected to arrive in the country next year with few changes in price tag.
