Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is one of the most important automobile exhibitions where Tata Motors has introduced a new variant of the Safari Bandipur Edition SUV. This particular version has been designed with elements reminiscent of Indian scenery and is dedicated to the Bandipur National Park which is a renowned wildlife sanctuary situated in the state of Karnataka.
Stylish New Look
This version of the annual is not without distinguishing features – it comes with a new look. It has darkened elements such as the Safari badge on the back and unique Bandipur Edition branding on the lower part of the bonnet. The higher end trim comes in dual-tone color with black roof to enhance the premium looks than the standard Safari On the inside, the interiors are now beige and the Bandipur logo is stitched at the back of the headrests.
Features to Love
Standard Safari: This edition incorporates all the components of the usual Safari. Some of the specific features include a 12,3-inch Infotainment touchscreen display, panoramic roofs, Wireless charging capability, and ventilated seats for the first and second rows. Various advanced features include up to 7 airbags, ADAS, 360-degree camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Under the Hood
The Bandipur Edition is not a mechanical change to the standard model but instead relies on its dependable 2.0-liter diesel engine to output 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. It is also available in both manual and automatic trims and features a front-wheel drive system.
Pricing and Competition
Tata Motors has not revealed the price but it is likely to be slightly above the standard Safari which is priced between ₹15.49 lakh to ₹26.79 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It will compete with the likes of MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, and Mahindra XUV700.
This is not just a new edition that comes with style and additional features, it’s India’s wildlife and Tata’s sustainability.
