Mahindra might shortly introduce a fresh body style to the Scorpio N line for international markets.
Recently seen testing in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, was a Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck. The test mule seems to be a near-production-spec version of the Mahindra Global Pik Up concept from 2023. The manufacturer at the time announced that the Global Pik Up idea would lead to a manufacturing variant based on a “next-generation ladder-frame” chassis and first release in 2025.

similarly to the Scorpio N SUV, the Scorpio N pickup sports a single-cab arrangement. Most likely, the pickup will run with a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine.
It’s a South African export product; right now, its introduction in India seems unlikely.
Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck: concept
The photographs show just the side profile and front end of the test mule, but as a Scorpio N offshoot, the familiar headlight form, LED signature, and alloy wheel design help one to identify it. But unlike the dual-cab arrangement of the Global Pik Up idea, the test mule of the Scorpio N pickup truck has a single-cab layout with an expanded bed behind it and a huge rear overhang further back. Whereas the Global Pik Up concept has a distinctive grille and a pared-back bumper with a big tow hook, the front fascia also appears exactly like the Scorpio N SUV.
Powertrains Mahindra Scorpio N pickup vehicle
Coupled with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter auto gearbox, the normal Scorpio N’s 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine would probably power the Scorpio N pickup truck, creating 175 hp and up to 400 Nm of torque. The more practical character of the Scorpio N pickup truck suggests four-wheel drive with shift-on-the-fly capability and drive modes including Normal, Grass, 400 Nm Snow Mud-Rut, and Sand.
We still don’t know when the Scorpio N pickup truck will debut, but an India launch currently seems unlikely. After most likely being transported to South Africa first, the Scorpio N pickup vehicle will be evaluated Mahindra in relation to bringing it to India.
